Our client, a front runner in the retail-manufacturing field, is in search of a Financial Accountant, with at least 5 years of commercial experience. To find out more, please share your CV with meDevelop and maintain robust financial controls and procedures
Review the Statement of Profit and Loss for accuracy and completeness
Prepare and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts
Compile monthly management accounts and conduct financial analysis
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial transactions and reporting
Review and refine financial reports to improve clarity and transparency
Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes
Manage and monitor finance team performance, including setting and evaluating KPIs
Oversee debtor and creditor aging, providing insights and feedback to relevant department managers
Review VAT entries quarterly and annually to ensure accuracy
Perform VAT calculations for review and approval by the Financial Manager
Prepare monthly journals, including payroll, interest, and stock journals
Conduct stock reconciliations and provide detailed analysis
Support the annual BBBEE application process
Compile audit working papers and respond to audit queries
Provide support with ad hoc financial and administrative tasks as requiredQualification:
