- Partner with product and marketing and media agencies to establish a strong media strategy for South Africa, while aligning on global marketing initiatives through active collaboration and information sharing
- Collect and analyse market data for reporting, while managing creative and media agencies, as well as overseeing production suppliers to ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives
- Develop and implement advertising strategies to position the company Brand competitively, aligning with business goals and strategic marketing objectives
- Manage and review all media planning and implementation to ensure maximum cost efficiency and effectively reach target audiences
- Conduct research to ensure that all communication achieves the desired brand positioning objectives
- Create and distribute advertising bulletins to keep Dealers informed of relevant market developments
- Develop and manage digital marketing strategies, including CRM, for each sub-brand to drive customer loyalty and retail sales
- Lead customer launch initiatives to support market share growth objectives
- Localise and review the design, development and production of POS material to support the dealers’ marketing initiatives
- Initiate, develop and implement promotional and experiential marketing campaigns to enhance brand image and increase awareness

- Develop, implement and manage customer launches to support the achievement of market share objectives for the brand
- Manage the editorial and advertorial content in the production of the customer magazine
- Manage the brand coordinator and manages their responsibilities to ensure effective brand support
- Collaborates across divisions and departments to deliver effective marketing initiatives grounded in strategic planning and aligned
- with business objectives
- Effective and accurate management of brand budgets
- Manage strong collaboration with specific areas of the sales organisation, including Product Marketing, CRM and Dealer Training
- Foster strong collaboration with key sales organisation areas, i.e. Product Marketing, CRM and Dealer Training
- Provide accurate and timely marketing information to the Dealer Network
- A formal 3-year Degree / Diploma in Marketing / Engineering / Commerce in a recognised tertiary institution
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of Product and Marketing, i.e. within one or more of the following fields:
- Product (Commercial Vehicles experience)
- Brand Promotions and Launches (ICE, PHEV and EV), Brand Advertising
- Marketing Research / Market Intelligence
- Media Strategy, Buying and Planning
- Digital Marketing
- Automotive marketing experience would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and command of the English Language, both written & oral
- Administrative / organisation skills
- Strong people orientation and a team player
- Thorough understanding of strategic marketing and brand strategy
- Sound knowledge of media strategy including media buying and placement
- Build and sustain multiple supplier business relationships
- Expertise in the digital and social media environment
- Customer focus – Dealers and external customers
