- Able Build and maintain effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts that may include major strategic customers within a geographic or industry focus.
- Able to Identify, develop and typically close renewal opportunities and new sales opportunities in the form of upsells and cross sells.
- Create demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers.
- Achieve revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account via renewals, upsells and cross selling.
- Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service value propositions.
- Act within the Account/Relationship Management Function as a generalist or in a combination with other disciplines.
- Have direct contact with clients and negotiate product/service terms.
- Continue to build knowledge of the business, financials, products/services, the market, or account needs.
- Government sales experience
- Software sales experience
- Previous similar industry knowledge
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Matric (Essential)
- Sales or Marketing qualification (advantageous)
