Hire Resolve's client, a leading retail company, is seeking a Buyer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing and purchasing products for the company's retail operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual to contribute to the success of a well-established retail brand.Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
Identify and source quality products from reliable suppliers
Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for product assortment improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless product availability and drive sales
Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock levels to meet customer demand and minimize carrying costs
Perform regular analysis of supplier performance and manage supplier relationships
Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement strategies

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
6 to 8 years of experience either in retailing or clothing manufacturing as a buyer in Ladieswear, Menswear, Kidswear, Accessories or Footwear
Proven track record of successfully sourcing and purchasing products
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office and experience with procurement software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
