Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to enhance lead generation strategies.Sales Revenue Growth:Implement strategies to increase revenue.
Develop and implement strategic business development plans.
Increase in sales over a specific period.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet revenue targets.Networking:Attend networking events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company and its services.
Build partnerships and strategic alliances.Market Research:Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategy.Proposal, Tender and Presentation Pitch:Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Identify Request for Proposals/Tenders and compile submissions.Performance Analysis:Track sales performance and the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Analyse data and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.Budget Management:Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum ROI.Customer Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
Address customer inquiries and concerns to ensure high satisfaction levels.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years' proven experience in Business Development or Sales.
- Strong understanding of sales and business development principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Understanding of the B-BBEE legislation and Enterprise and Supplier Development landscape.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to write proposals, present and pitch to potential clients.
- The resourcefulness to be innovative in implementing marketing and sales strategies with available resources.
- Ability to oversee the performance of creative marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences.
