An established company is seeking a qualified Proposals Engineer to manage the preparation of quotations and tenders for power generation products, services, and technologies. The role requires strong technical and commercial acumen to evaluate specifications, prepare cost estimates, and ensure tender compliance. The successful candidate will liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to develop tailored, competitive solutions.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and submit detailed tenders and quotationsReview customer specifications and ensure compliance (technical and commercial)Compile cost estimates and confirm availability of materials/stockInterpret Single Line Diagrams for pricingCoordinate returnable documents and technical attachmentsConduct site inspections when requiredProvide technical support to clients and internal teamsMaintain strong customer relationships and support business developmentParticipate in product launches and trade exhibitionsMinimum Requirements:Relevant engineering diploma or degree (Electrical/Mechanical preferred)Minimum 3–5 years of experience in proposals, sales, or tendering within power generation or related industriesStrong technical understanding of electrical systems and componentsProficient in reviewing technical specifications and drawings (including SLDs)Excellent communication, costing, and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
