Electronic Equipment testing, Fault finding and repairs, Electronic Test Equipment Test Bench development (hardware and software) and documentation, Technical Report writing, Acceptance Test Procedure and Test Report development.Key responsibilities / main job duties:
- Electronic equipment
- Acceptance Testing
- Fault finding and repairs
- Operational and Qualification testing
- Technical Report writing after various tests
- Test Bench development (hardware and software)
- Acceptance Test Procedure and Acceptance Test Report development
- PCB Soldering
- Equipment assembly and testing
- B-Tech/National Higher Diploma
- Some form of IPC training (preferable)
- 5 years of experience needed
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Python/C/C++
- CAD (e.g. Altium/ Proteas/Easy EDA, etc)
- Electronics
- At least one drawing software
- Electronics
- Reading and understanding circuit diagrams
- Fault finding and repairs
- Electronics components identification
- Knowledge of how to use measuring instruments
- Knowledge of electronics communication (e.g. CAN, RS232, RS485, RS422, ETHERNET, etc)
- Technical Report writing ability
- Basic coding/programming skill
- Knowledge and understanding of how to write code and use at least one electronics development board e.g. Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc
