Job Summary Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including processing orders, managing customer inquiries, and maintaining sales records.
  • Assist with sales-related tasks such as preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services, including tiles, granite, and construction materials, to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Work closely with customers to address their needs and provide exceptional service, especially when the sales team is out of the office.
  • Utilize SAP software for order processing and inventory management.
  • Think creatively and proactively contribute ideas to enhance sales strategies and processes.
  • Read and interpret designs and construction plans related to tiles, granite, and other materials.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
  • Ability to read and understand designs and construction plans related to tiles, granite, and other materials.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP software preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Energetic, motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Customer-focused attitude with the ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and requirements.
Salary Range: R12,000 - R16,000 per monthAdditional Information:
  • This position is onsite in Western Cape.
  • The Sales Administrator will have the opportunity to grow into a senior sales position with the company.
  • The position is available urgently.
