Job Summary An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Sales Engineer to join a dynamic team in Durban. The role is focused on driving sales growth, expanding market share, and strengthening client relationships within the valves, mechanical, and instrumentation space. This is a role for a self-starter who thrives on building strong client networks and delivering technical sales solutions.Non-Negotiable Requirements

Mechanical/technical qualification (Diploma/Degree) advantageous.
Proven experience in sales of valves, mechanical or instrumentation products.
Strong technical knowledge of valves (essential).
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
Must be willing and able to travel extensively.

Job Experience & Skills Required

Track record in technical sales with ability to meet and exceed budgets.
Experience preparing and presenting technical quotes, tenders, and sales presentations.
Ability to cold call, expand client base, and secure new business opportunities.
Skilled in account management, client servicing, and after-sales support.
Strong planning, reporting, and sales pipeline management abilities.
Driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
