As an Account Executive, you'll contribute to the overall sales strategy, manage a portfolio of key accounts, and ensure smooth sales operations from prospecting to closing. Your responsibilities will span client engagement, sales cycle management, risk mitigation, and working closely with cross-functional teams to align on delivery and compliance. This is an opportunity to grow within a team that values learning, purpose-driven action, and collaborative impact.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship ManagementManage data buyer relationships and liaise with data sellers monetising their data assetsOwn and grow a portfolio of key accounts across finance, insurance, healthcare, retail, and telcoServe as the lead commercial contact, building deep relationships with cross-functional client stakeholdersResolve client data-related issues and collaborate with support, product, and tech teams to ensure satisfactionAccount Growth & RetentionDrive account retention and timely renewals through strategic planning and demonstrated platform valueProactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunitiesLead end-to-end sales cycles: budgeting, contracting, proposal delivery, negotiation, and closureStrategic Alignment & Use Case ExpansionDevelop and execute strategic account plans and roadmapsConduct regular review sessions to ensure alignment with client goalsCollaborate with internal teams to champion client needs and use case developmentPipeline & Performance ManagementDeliver accurate sales forecasts and maintain CRM recordsAchieve KPAs and KPIs aligned with role objectivesCompliance-Focused AdvisoryIdentify and mitigate account risks in line with compliance standardsGuide clients on data privacy and governance practices including POPIA and ISO 27001What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree with 5–10 years of B2B account management or client success experienceProven success in managing mid-to-enterprise accounts with multiple stakeholdersExperience in SaaS, data sales, or consulting environmentsStrong sales performance history and customer satisfaction track recordKey Skills & AttributesStrategic Thinking and Account PlanningIndustry Insight and Continuous LearningSales Execution and NegotiationCRM and Pipeline ManagementProject and Stakeholder ManagementWhat’s On OfferFlexible hybrid work environmentComprehensive benefits packageEntrepreneurial, performance-driven team cultureUnique and competitive performance incentivesCompany Culture
