Diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum 2 years in tender/bid administration
Experience in cleaning, facilities management or hygiene industry
Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel is essential
Attention to detail and accuracy essential
Ability to plan and meet deadlines under a highly pressurised environmentMain duties & Responsibilities:Tender/bid generation
Capture bids on the bid register
Arrange for payment of bid/tender documentation
Arrange for attendance at tender briefing sessions
Qualification of sales opportunities with core bid teams
Manage bids through bid process – from qualification through to win/loss reviews; ensure bids are compliant, responsive and complete
Reviews complex, high – level multi – BU or strategic requests for proposals (RFPs)
Develops proposal plans, outlines and schedules
Runs qualification and kick-off meetings
Costing of bids
Ensure that all bids completed within the stipulated time frames
Maintain contact with sales and operations to ensure all opportunities are communicated and maintained
Assisting branches with supportive marketing material i.e. profiles
Ensure client contract obligations are met
Be available for customer visits (as and when required)
Updating of bid reports on a daily basis for the department manager
Maintain necessary filling system on a weekly basis
Regular updating of the bid register
