Job Summary We have a fantastic opportunity available in Sandton for a Senior Road Freight and Stock Controller. Candidates are expected to be able to perform the following: Road Loading KPIs: Loading accuracy making sure that correct goods are loaded per dispatch instructions. Average loading time per vehicle monitoring operational efficiency and time management during loading. Vehicle utilization evaluating how fully trucks are loaded compared to their capacity. On-time vehicle dispatch rate tracking punctuality in dispatching vehicles as per schedule. Loading error rate capturing frequency of loading mistakes Stock Management KPIs: Inventory accuracy comparing recorded stock versus physical stock during stock takes. Stock Turnover Ratio. Monitoring stock loss due to theft, damage, or errors. Tracking the accuracy of cycle counts done throughout the quarter. Monitoring how often required stock is unavailable when needed. Combined Operational KPIs: Cost per load total operational cost incurred per truck loading (labour, equipment, delays). Daily load volume monitoring the number of vehicles or volume loaded daily. Order fulfillment rate monitoring the rate of complete and correct order shipments. Health and Safety compliance rate tracking adherence to safety standards during loading and stock handling. Operational downtime monitoring delays due to equipment failure, manpower issues, or process inefficiencies and more.
