Role OverviewAs a SAP Basis Consultant (Full-time/Contractor) at K5 Business, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting our clients' SAP technical landscapes. You will ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and security, and you will play a key role in delivering successful SAP S/4HANA and cloud migration projects.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO) and underlying databases (MaxDB, HANA, Etc.)Plan and execute system installations, upgrades and kernel patchesMonitor system performance; tune and optimise as requiredManage transports, client copies and system refreshesImplement high-availability, disaster-recovery and backup strategiesTroubleshoot technical issues across application and OS layersCollaborate with Basis, Security and Infrastructure teamsProduce technical documentation and handover packsProvide on-call and project-support when requiredRequired Skills & Experience5 + years SAP Basis experience in multinational environmentsHands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA migrations and conversionsStrong knowledge of UNIX/Linux, Windows and database platforms (Oracle, HANA, MS SQL)Proven track record with SAP Transport Management and Solution ManagerFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native deploymentsSolid scripting skills (Shell, PowerShell) for automationExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsQualifications & AttributesSAP Basis or System Administration Certifications (preferred)ITIL Foundation certification (advantageous)Proactive, self-motivated and able to work under pressureStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityTeam-player with client-facing experienceWhat We OfferRemote work modelOngoing training and SAP certification supportOpportunity to work on cutting-edge S/4HANA and cloud projects
