- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the IT sector, with responsibility for managing large cloud/hybrid environments (Required)
- Relevant Azure certifications are advantageous
- South African citizens/residents preferred; valid work permit holders considered
- Strong experience with Csharp and .NET Core development
- Solid understanding of Azure services (App Services, AKS, Key Vault)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm charts
- Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline automation
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation practices
- Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Version control with Git and collaborative development
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
- Frontend development experience, especially with Angular
- Experience with Docker containerization
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging in cloud environments
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and practices
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- 24/7 Operations Leadership: Responsible for 24/7 operations as main focus including incident handling and resolution for autonomous transport systems
- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications using Csharp and .NET Core for logistics automation platforms
- Cloud Solutions: Build and deploy cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure supporting autonomous logistics operations
- Container Management: Develop and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm for scalable logistics systems
- CI/CD Implementation: Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated deployment and testing
- DevOps Automation: Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments for logistics platforms
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues in production environments
- Best Practices: Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices within agile feature teams
- Team Collaboration: Work within 6 agile feature teams (2-7 people per team) from Germany and South Africa ensuring autonomous transport systems in logistics work perfectly
