Collaborate with others implementing and maintaining services and or programs in area of responsibility
Maintain a variety of manual and electronic files and or records for the purpose of providing up-to-date references and complying with regulatory requirements
Maintain assigned tools, equipment and vehicles ensuring their availability as needed to meet assigned maintenance objectives
Perform standby duties and work overtime as required
Develop procedures and quality documentation to ensure ongoing process and continuous Improvement for area of responsibility
Communicate with the internal and external suppliers and customers as and when required
Recruit maintenance staff that complies with the company’s Job Profile and Job Specifications
Monitor subordinate’s performance against Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) requirements and correct non-conformances
Investigate SHEQ incidents and identify root causes of non-conformances and correct deviations
Maintain a high level of good housekeeping in the workplace at all time
Adhere to all safety rules and regulationsThe ideal candidate should have:Relevant NQF Level 5 qualification (Mechanical)
Recognised Trade Certificate (Manpower/Seta accredited)
5 years’ plant operations experience
Computer Literate (MS Office Package)
Valid driving license
Pulp and Paper industry experience advantageous
