Job SummaryA leading data-driven technology company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer - Data Science Projects to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining production-level data science solutions, including models, pipelines, and dashboards, with a keen eye for performance, reliability, and continuous improvement. Monitor and maintain data-driven systems, including predictive models, pipelines, dashboards, and APIs in production.
Identify and resolve issues related to performance degradation, data inconsistencies, or infrastructure stability.
Implement automated checks and alerts to track system health, accuracy, and data quality.
Perform regular updates and patches to tools, dependencies, and environments.
Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to improve code structure and maintainability.
Document changes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting guides for transparency and team knowledge-sharing.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to minimize system downtime.
Ensure maintained systems align with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
Continuously evaluate and enhance reliability, efficiency, and performance of deployed solutions.

Requirements:

A completed degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
At least 4 years of experience in a relevant role such as data engineering, machine learning operations, or software system maintenance.
Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages commonly used in data workflows (e.g., Python, R).
Solid experience with SQL and working with large, complex datasets.
Familiarity with production environments and maintaining live analytics or data-driven applications.
Knowledge of CI/CD practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and understanding of cloud-native tools and practices.
