What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, programming, and commissioning PLC systems (Allen Bradley / Siemens S7).
- Developing and maintaining SCADA and Robotic systems.
- Managing AC & DC drives, motors, and motion control systems.
- Configuring and troubleshooting industrial communication networks:
- Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet, DeviceNet, ControlNet, AS-i, Fiber Optic.
- Ensuring automation systems run reliably to minimize downtime and maximize plant efficiency.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to support plant improvements and new projects.
- ND / BTech Engineer (Electrical, Electronic, or Automation).
- Must be South African
- 5 years’ experience in industrial automation within manufacturing.
- Strong expertise in PLC programming (Allen Bradley / Siemens S7) and SCADA development.
- Hands-on experience with Robotics (programming, integration, and troubleshooting).
- Solid knowledge of AC & DC Drives, motors, and variable speed control systems.
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols as listed above.
- A proactive problem solver with strong technical aptitude and teamwork skills.
