  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a projects environment.
EXPERIENCE:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as Mechanical Supervisor with projects environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and practices.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to a safe work environment
THE ROLE:
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of mechanical technicians and mechanics.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure a high level of technical expertise within the team.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to minimize production downtime.
  • Oversee the troubleshooting and repair of mechanical breakdowns promptly.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to perform testing and diagnostic procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Generate reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance activities.
  • Provide regular updates to management on the status of mechanical operations.
  • Assist in the development and management of the mechanical department budget.
  • Optimize resource utilization and control costs related to maintenance and repairs.
  • Enforce and promote a culture of safety within the mechanical department.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols during maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production, engineering, and quality assurance, to optimize overall manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams for continuous improvement initiatives.
