Network Engineer

• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).
• Configure and install various network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
• Monitor network performance, analyse network traffic, and optimize network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system enhancements to optimize network security and performance.
• Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation.
• Provide technical support to end-users and other IT teams.
• Stay up-to-date with current network technologies and industry best practices by attending networking workshops and pursuing certifications.

• 3+ years proven work experience as a Network Engineer or similar role in network administration.
• In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and security solutions.
• Hands-on experience with networking devices and network diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux), databases, and virtualisation.

• Professional Certification such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
