Senior Data Science Consultant (Remote - South Africa) - R900k to R1.2mil per annumPOSITION INFO:Join a dynamic and innovative Data Science team as a Senior Data Science Consultant, where strategic thinking meets technical excellence. In this full-time remote role, you''ll collaborate with clients to uncover strategic insights from alternative data and guide impactful, data-driven decisions across industries.Responsibilities:

Design and lead end-to-end data science projects aligned with client objectives.
Provide strategic consulting grounded in data analytics and alternative data insights.
Develop predictive models, data products, and forecasting tools.
Translate data insights into actionable business strategies for clients.
Lead project teams and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Develop performance metrics and communicate results via dashboards and reports.
Support business development through client engagement, upselling, and cross-selling.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor''s degree in Data Science,

, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (Postgraduate preferred). * 5+ years in a senior data science role, including leadership of projects and teams.

2+ years in strategic or management consulting with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Expertise in Python, SQL, and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure ML, PySpark, Databricks, and Delta Lake.
Proven ability to build and orchestrate Synapse Pipelines (SQL, Spark, APIs).
Advantageous: Azure Data Scientist Associate certification, experience in
