Reporting to the Plant Engineer, the responsible Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for maintaining refrigeration units and cooling systems, identifying problems and servicing them and their parts.Minimum Requirements:Minimum of a Grade 12, with N3 Technical Qualification and a Trade-tested Refrigeration Certificate. Ammonia certification is essential. 2 – 3 years’ post-Trade experience in commercial refrigeration (specifically in an ammonia environment). Knowledge of the safe handling of gases.
