This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong culinary background and experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environments.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Head Chef in managing the daily kitchen operationsSupervise and train junior kitchen staff to maintain consistency and qualityEnsure all dishes are prepared to the highest standard and in a timely mannerMaintain excellent hygiene and safety standards in the kitchenAssist with stock control, ordering, and kitchen cost managementContribute to menu planning and development in line with the property's culinary standardsEnsure the smooth running of the kitchen during busy service timesRequirements:Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchenFormal culinary training or relevant qualification preferredProven leadership abilities with a hands-on approachStrong organisational and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and maintain high standardsFlexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidaysThis is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Sous Chef to be part of a reputable hospitality team in a stunning bushveld setting.
