- Matric and 3-year Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement
- 5 years' experience at a senior level in Procurement in an Industrial environment
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable presenting to executive leadership and steering committees
- Experience with Tenders and negotiating contracts at a high level
- Proficient in SAP, Advanced Excel
- Own vehicle
- Planning and alignment of key procurement process and procedural requirements
- Estimating and forecasting procurement costs for the operations based on demand, competitive pricing and/ or other influential variables that impact procurement
- Demand planning and sourcing
- Organisation wide procurement service
- Participating in the continuous improvement process of streamlining and introducing inventory workflow, procedures and controls to improve integration, accuracy, efficiency and accountability in the inventory administrative processes
- Networking and maintaining contact with suppliers and service providers in the market to facilitate the processes of acquiring and disseminating information relating to the company's procurement needs and standards
