Job SummaryWe are looking for a professional Area Manager to coordinate and oversee our organization's operations.The area manager function is mainly to implement the correct processes and practices across the organization. Excellent understanding of HR/IR practices and labour.The duties will include formulating strategy, improving performance, achieving KPI's on all warehouse sites, increasing headcounts per existing sites and maintaining excellent client relationships. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels.Ultimately, we'll trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient and profitable during the course of business.Responsibilities

Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
Help the organization's processes remain legally compliant
Formulate strategic and operational objectives
Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
Manage budgets and forecasts
Ensure KPI's are achieved as per scorecards for all sites
Recruit, train and supervise staff
Find ways to increase quality of customer service
HR/IR
Client retention and market growth

Requirements

Proven work experience as operations manager or similar role in warehouse/distribution/FMCG environment/labour outsourcing
Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
Experience budgeting and forecasting
Familiarity with business and financial principles
Excellent communication skills
Leadership ability
Outstanding organizational skills
Excellent client relationship building and maintenance
Staff management experience (HR/IR)
