As a German Teacher at this esteemed educational institution, you will be an integral part of the Senior School, focusing on delivering high-quality education in German as a Second Additional Language. Teach German (SAL) to students in Grades 8-12, preparing them for DSD I and II examinations
Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with IEB and DSD standards
Assist in the administration of DSD exams, conduct training workshops, and manage exchange programs
Incorporate technology and digital teaching tools to enhance language learning
Provide mentoring and pastoral support to students
Participate actively in the school's extramural programs
Collaborate with a team of educators to achieve educational objectives

What you'll need

Minimum 5 years' of experience in teaching German as a Second Additional Language within the IEB curriculum
Experience with or knowledge of the DSD program and the CEFR framework up to C1 level is advantageous
Strong proficiency in the use of technology for educational purposes
Familiarity with digital language teaching tools is required
Must hold professional qualifications and provide proof of SACE registration
Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills
