- Lead the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of workplace health and safety systems.
- Conduct regular site audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety briefings.
- Drive a culture of safety awareness and accountability across all levels of operations.
- Ensure legal compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Report to management and clients on safety performance and improvements.
- Provide training, coaching, and support to teams on safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with operations managers to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- A relevant safety qualification (e.g., SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a similar safety management role in an industrial, operational, or high-risk environment.
- Strong understanding of safety legislation and systems.
- Ability to achieve exceptional results in Safety Audits.
- High level of initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between operational sites.
- Professional, energetic, and solutions-oriented.
