The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing project profitability, ensuring contractual compliance, and managing commercial risks. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in the construction sector.Requirements:
- BSc Hons. degree in
- Proficiency in Buildsmart System and Construction Computer Software (CCS)
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and standard contract documents
- SACQSP professional registration is essential
- Experience in design-build/EPC projects and project
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and compliance with legal and project requirements
- Oversee contract execution, manage variations, and ensure adherence to agreed terms
- Monitor project expenses, control cost overruns, and ensure projects remain within budget
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting risks and opportunities
- Resolve claims and disputes with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes
- Collaborate closely with project planners to optimize claims opportunities
- Lead commercial risk analysis and contribute to business development and strategic planning
