- Drive our eCommerce marketing strategy.
- Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
- Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
- Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
- Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, marketing team, and external partners to design, test and evolve lead nurturing tactics and drive sales.
- Utilize the organizational resources optimally for the business promotion activities.
1. Strategic Leadership & Brand Stewardship
- Serve as an active member of the leadership team, collaborating closely with other department heads to contribute to company culture, direction, and goals.
- Define and implement a comprehensive, dual-brand marketing strategy that aligns with the business objectives of RSAWEB.
- Develop and enforce brand positioning and tone-of-voice guidelines to ensure consistent representation across all digital, print, event, and public-facing platforms.
- Identify opportunities to reach new customer segments and expand market share while maintaining brand integrity and differentiation.
- Build and manage annual and quarterly marketing plans and budgets to support strategic initiatives and commercial objectives.
- Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns across the full customer lifecycle — from awareness to acquisition to retention.
- Work in close collaboration with internal creative teams to develop high-impact advertising and communications that align with brand guidelines.
- Own and drive performance marketing activities (SEO, SEM, paid media, email, content, etc.) to optimize reach, traffic, and conversions.
- Oversee social media strategy and execution, ensuring brand-appropriate content, community engagement, and real-time responsiveness.
- Leverage analytics tools (GA4, HubSpot, Hotjar, zoho analytics, etc.) to track campaign effectiveness, optimize performance, and inform strategic pivots.
- Define and implement measurement frameworks, ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable weekly and monthly reporting to the Executive Committee and relevant stakeholders.
- Drive the selection, adoption, and optimization of marketing technology tools including CRM, automation, customer data platforms, and campaign performance dashboards.
- Gather and analyze customer insights, market research, and user feedback to guide brand positioning, campaign messaging, and product/market fit.
- Proactively monitor competitors, market dynamics, pricing trends, promotions, and new service offerings to inform RSAWEB’s go-to-market positioning.
- Identify and evaluate sponsorships, partnerships, and event opportunities to strengthen brand relevance and customer engagement.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing, multi-disciplinary marketing team across both brands, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and innovation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Operations, and Customer Service to align campaigns, content, and messaging with business needs.
- Create an environment of continuous improvement through knowledge sharing, upskilling, and open performance feedback.
- Ensure operational marketing excellence through project management, process optimization, and alignment on SLAs and turnaround times.
- Manage brand reputation, including proactive PR, crisis communications, and online review strategies.
- Support the communication of sustainability, community investment, and B-BBEE initiatives where relevant to stakeholder and public engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns.
- Work experience as a Marketing Manager, Head of Marketing or Business Unit Director (in an agency); preferably within the Technology/Telecoms/ISP industry.
- Experience in both B2B and B2C markets is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent leadership qualities with strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity.
- Highly experienced with eCommerce, marketing automation and CRM tools.
- Proficiency with online marketing, SEO/SEM and social media strategy.
- Knowledge of web analytics with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to quickly prioritize and assign tasks.
