Electrical Engineer (Windfarm Projects)

• Manage the electrical engineering scope on large-scale windfarm projects from planning to completion.
• Interpret drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and client requirements.
• Lead site teams, allocate resources, and oversee subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate procurement, material controls, and project documentation.
• Prepare project schedules, progress reports, and cash flow forecasts.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with OHSA, SANS, ISO, and all environmental and safety standards.

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional registration with SACPCMP.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry, preferably in windfarm or renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of Electrical Balance of Plant (EBOP) and turbine interface coordination highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CAD software.
• Valid driver’s licence and South African citizenship.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
