Our client is the leading Road Transporter operating in the PE- Gauteng corridor and PE-Cape Town Routes; is seeking to appoint an experienced Fleet Controller.

Qualification and Requirements:

Matric
Logistics / Transport Qualification would be preferable
2 to 3 Years fleet management experience

Duties:

Manage fuel consumption
Monitor driver performance
Full vehicle utilisation (limit empty loads to an absolute minimum), control, maintenance and tracking
Accident and incident investigation
Fleet management of +/- 20 vehicles
Driver allocation and management
Source leads
Build sound relationships with clients and brokers
Evaluate integrity of load and associated risks

Other:

Good fleet knowledge
Manage work efficiently and effectively
Always perform high quality of work / have a strong / high work ethic
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective internal and external relationship building via good communication
Ensuring an effective control of company costs and assets
Good time management and priority setting skills
Must be able to take ownership and accountability of / for all related tasks
Must have a questioning / probing mind
