- This role involves marketing strategy, planning and implementation of the brand positioning and development. You would be solely responsible for all things marketing, alongside the business owner.
- You’ll blend creativity, strategy, and passion to bring the various sports-related brands to life within a consumer group.
- Design digital strategies for various brands.
- Design, manage and schedule digital content for these brands.
- Design and edit basic visual content, including graphics, reels, and short videos using tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
- Oversee the digital exposure of our products.
- Monitor digital engagement - respond to comments, messages, and brand mentions with professionalism and discretion.
- Track analytics, compile monthly reports, and interpret performance insights to improve digital strategy.
- Stay up to date on emerging digital trends and platform features, continuously suggesting fresh, innovative approaches for audience growth and engagement.
- Web design - development, maintenance, optimising and extending new and existing websites.
- Systems:
- Manage CMS and interactions with 3rd party software,
- Manage and support on CRM and Payment gateway.
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations - advantageous
- Experience (and passion) within the Sports industry is essential.
- Experience with marketing of Sports equipment and apparel - advantageous
- Proficiency with Marketing software and platforms, analytics tools, and basic design/video software (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw)
- Proficiency with Social Media platforms - Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and Linkedin
- Understanding of SEO and accessibility principles
- Experience with CMS (Content Management Systems)
- Experience with CRM (Client Relationship Management systems)
- Excellent knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JS is ideal
- Working with third party API integrations
- Experience with payments gateways
- Strong understanding of online audiences and platform-specific best practices
- Basic design, video editing and animation skills with attention to aesthetic and detail.
- Excellent writing, visual storytelling, and editorial judgment
- Experience with email marketing on marketing on messaging platforms (Whats App and Telegram).
