- Effectively respond to high volumes of incoming business funding applications from new customers.
- Accurately analyse and interpret business funding applications from new clients. Understand which applications are ready to progress to the next phase of assessment, and which require additional information or should be declined.
- Successfully convert applications that have been approved by our Credit Risk team into funding disbursals.
- Consistently excel in meeting business and individual targets
- Provide comprehensive reporting on your sales pipeline
- Alongside the handling of incoming applications, timeously manage other tasks that are essential to delivering the highest level of customer service
- Be familiar with and follow the agreed business rules and processes to ensure credit is granted to a customer with the highest level of integrity

- Exceptional sales skills - listening to and interpreting customer problems/needs, thorough knowledge of the product one is selling and its benefits
- Minimum 1-2 years experience within a financial services sales environment
- Target driven, ability to work under high levels of pressure with a track record of consistently excelling in meeting sales targets
- High level of understanding of financial statements, business/supplier contracts, SARS e filing for business, payment gateways and accounting software (Advantageous)
- Strong administrative skills
- Degree or diploma in finance, business or accounting (Desirable)
- Previous work experience in a startup (Desirable)
- Familiar in working in G-suite
- Familiar in working with CRM platforms such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, etc
