Assistant Production Manager

This position requires a minimum 3 years operational/ technical experience.
Candidate must have extremely strong people skills; Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail; Food safety, quality and H&S consciousness
Be able to train & lead team; work alongside all personnel; contribute to enhancing strategies, goals and values of the plant and company
promote discipline and enhance favorable working environment.

Key Responsibilities (Not Limited to):

Assist with and monitor adherence production planning
Ensure production practices align with quality objectives and product specifications
Monitor, assist and advise senior team leaders in ensuring efficiency, and quality targets are achieved and maintained
Monitor all team members for adherence to safe work practices
Monitor GMP practices and assist with corrective actions where needed
Guide and mentor all levels of production team as and where needed
Monitor production team discipline and take corrective and disciplinary action as and where needed
Ensure HACCP and PRP compliance across all production parameters
Train new operators on procedures and proper use of equipment.
Assisting production and Ops manager where needed
To do other duties as may be required or assigned by the production or operations managers
