They are searching for a Finance Systems Lead to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of their Microsoft-based finance systems. This role is ideal for a seasoned analyst or aspiring manager eager to lead a small team, deliver reliable system performance, and drive automation using cutting-edge tools. You’ll collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve issues, implement upgrades, and optimize processes. This hybrid role, based in Cape Town, offers up to 60% remote work, a competitive salary, and opportunities for career growth in a diverse, inclusive environment.Ensure reliability and performance of financial systems, including Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Query, and Power Automate
Manage user access, permissions, and auditing controls across platforms
Lead a small team of analysts to maintain system availability and deliver enhancement projects
Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve incidents and manage system upgrades
Drive low-code/no-code automation initiatives using Microsoft Power Platform
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for finance systems and workflows
Support integration and functionality of payment platforms with internal and external partnersSkills & Experience:
Proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, and Microsoft Office suite
Experience with finance processes and workflows is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment
Strong troubleshooting skills and excellent stakeholder communication
Programming knowledge (e.g., Python) is a plus for innovative problem-solving
Familiarity with IT jobs and developer roles in dynamic, tech-driven environmentsQualification:
Relevant degree or equivalent experience in IT, finance, or related fields
