
Power Electronics Hardware Engineer

- Design, develop, and test power electronic circuits including DC-DC converters, inverters, and motor drives.
- Select and evaluate components such as IGBTs, MOSFETs, gate drivers, transformers, and capacitors.
- Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and design for manufacturability.
- Collaborate with embedded systems, mechanical, and systems engineers on integrated designs.
- Conduct simulations (e.g., SPICE, LTspice, PLECS) to verify and optimize designs.
- Support product testing, debugging, and validation activities in the lab.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety and EMC standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in power electronics hardware development.
- Strong understanding of power semiconductor devices and magnetics.
- Experience with simulation tools and hardware debugging instruments (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, etc.).
- Familiarity with thermal and EMI/EMC considerations in power design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
