- Facilitating Agile development by coaching the team on Scrum principles and practices.
- Ensuring effective communication, removal of obstacles, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Guiding the team in self-organization and continuous improvement.
- Championing the Scrum framework, encouraging adherence to its principles, and cultivating a culture of transparency, inspection, and adaptation.
- Managing delivery of prioritized backlog items and align with business and value stream teams.
- Facilitating and documenting team working agreements and ways of working.
- Setting up and facilitating scrum ceremonies, and providing scrum reporting.
- Collaborating with the Product Manager to manage sprint objectives and delivery.
- Providing support in Program Increment (PI) Planning and facilitation support to the Product Manager as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma.
- Scrum Master certified.
- Good understanding of Agile product development.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- 3+ years of project management experience, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- 3 years in a role delivering technology solutions.
- Experience in requesting feedback and resolving impediments.
- Experience in retail and digital banking (preferred).
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Any experience working outside of South Africa will be an added advantage.
- Location: Johannesburg (Hybrid/Remote Setup)
