The incumbent will be allocated accounts within sales territory in Kwazulu-Natal and become part of bigger global dynamic team.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for Coronary, Cardiac Rhythm Management, and Cardiac Surgery product lines.
Identify and capitalize on opportunities in both Private and Government accounts within KwaZulu-Natal.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cardiologists, surgeons, hospital administrators, and procurement managers.
Drive account performance and identify areas for growth or improvement.
Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for Medtronic’s product lines
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory management.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Minimum 4 years of sales experience in the medical device industry, ideally with cardiology-related products, and a proven track record of meeting sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
Relevant educational background, preferably a degree in Biomedical Sciences, Business, or a related field.
Clinical knowledge of cardiology and cardiac surgery procedures is an added advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
Willingness to travel extensively within KwaZulu-Natal.
