Field Service Controller

• Control of servicing, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance
• Dispatching technicians to breakdowns
• Daily planning of technicians’ work

• 3 years of experience in the material handling industry or related.
• Three years of experience in a similar role.
• Good communication skills
• Excellent computer skills.
• The ability to understand technical procedures.
• Good communication abilities – both written and verbal
• Able to deal with the staff in an assertive but fair manner.
• Prepared to be available after working hours.
• Must be able to deal with customers in an amicable way.
• The ability to withstand pressure situations.
• Self-disciplined in their attention to detail
• The ability to escalate potentially contentious situations.
• Computer literate and competent in understanding new systems.
• Able and willing to carry out the instructions.
• Experience in a similar environment will be advantageous.
