- Support the Account Director in the development of all client strategies and plans, assisting with delivering well-researched, thought out and excellent strategic documents.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the client's goals and objectives and the ability to translate this into ideas that are insight-led.
- Demonstrate creativity and insight in developing new and innovative plans and ideas.
- Responsible for implementing media relations campaigns, under guidance of the Account Director, and supported by the Account Executive, to ensure targets are met and plans are delivered against.
- Demonstrate ability to create compelling, relevant, insightful, creative and (if needed) newsworthy, content that is relevant to the client.
- Demonstrate good media relations skills with proven relationships and results in traditional media placement.
- Maintain a strong set of relationships with media and influencers, which is up to date and relevant to the client accounts.
- Draft press releases and other content, creating collateral and content that is of a good quality with little input needed in terms of edits, builds or amends.
- Support the Account Director in developing proposals and budgets for events and other projects and ensuring sign off by client.
- Support the Account Director in delivering against these plans, ensuring objectives, timelines and budgets are met.
- Display good programme delivery and project management skills.
- Support the Account Director in managing and mentor the Account Executive.
- Demonstrate a potential to lead, motivate and inspire others.
- Input into building company culture.
- Build a relationship with the client and deliver against all briefs, plans and activities.
- Support the Account Director in the day-to-day implementation and roll out of agreed plans, meeting and exceeding all agreed KPIs as agreed and set out with the client.
- Display an understanding of the client business and an excellent relationship with the client.
- Display financial acumen - show an understanding of account budget forecasts, time recons and budget management
- Attend client meetings and presentations, responsible for creating agendas in advance of the meeting, and circulating minutes or contact reports within 24 hours after the meeting.
- Draft and circulate weekly and monthly status reports, accurately and on time.
- Industry relevant qualification
- 4-5 years relevant PR agency experience
- Exposure to basic social media know-how (i.e. community management if need be)
- Exceptional media relations skills
- Influencer know how
- Able to proactively research, recommend and implement new trends and ideas in the communications sphere.
- Display good presentation skills - verbal and written.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of all marketing disciplines, including social media, digital, branding, graphic design, online etc.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and organisational skills e.g. editing, time planning, meeting deadlines etc.
