- Significant work experience as a rigger, 2+ years minimum
- RAN, RF and MW Equipment, config, routing and troubleshooting (3 – 5 years)
- Must be up to date with, and willing to comply with all OHSA Safety Standards
- Familiar with all necessary safety equipment
- Able to assess each load and select proper equipment for the job
- Solid working knowledge of all rigging equipment
- Able to inspect rigging equipment to ensure it is in good working order
- Experience with assembly and disassembly of rigging equipment
- Solid maths skills for calculating load requirements
- Physically capable of working in demanding conditions
- Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift heavy loads
- Excellent vision and hearing
- Ability to safely work at heights, and/or climbing of ladders, scaffolding, etc. (US229998)
- Fluent in English, bilingual advantageous
- Reliable and hardworking with a team-player attitude
- Site reticulation knowledge and skills (3 – 5 years)
- Experience with mobile operator (Vodacom) processes (2+ years);
- Install equipment, including base stations, antennas, radio units, and associated hardware, in accordance with project specifications;
- Managing a 3–4-man team and complex solutions and actions to achieve set targets;
- Technical understanding and zeal. Troubleshoot and resolve issues regarding equipment faults, through systematic diagnosis and various techniques;
- Proven skills on RF and RAN technologies (2+ years);
- Team player with customer centricity;
- Critical thinking, problem solving and dealing with complex scenarios;
- Efficient scheduling, solution and execution planning;
- Identification and implementation of process improvement elements;
- Very effective verbal and written communication;
- Manage, supervise and provide technical advice to team members;
- Decision making and agility to cater for short notice scope changes in technical, resourcing, and solutions aspects;
- Attention to detail and critical time management to drive set targets;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

- Safely and properly attach and utilise all pulley and block systems;
- Set-up and disassemble necessary equipment;
- Properly select correct gear for the job;
- Maintain control of all loads at all times;
- Manoeuvre loads through difficult and confined spaces;
- Work co-operatively with erection team to meet requirements.
