
Senior Finance Manager

- 5-7 years post-article commercial experience
- Exposure to, or experience in the construction or allied industries (e.g. supplier) (Preferable)
- Computer literate - full finance / payroll exposure
- Lead admin, finance and HR team
- Detailed weekly, monthly, quarterly cash flow planning & management
- Contract costing and profitability management
- Ensuring all revenue is billed and cash collected as due
- Ensuring the costs per contract are accurate, reliable and provide early warning of losses
- Ensuring that there are adequate banking facilities available to fund the business
- Consolidated financial reporting (monthly / year end)
- Profit control – monthly budget vs actual vs prior year variance reporting
- Full Tax, VAT / EMP 201& 501 / dividends / Import duties / management of forex
- Foreign transactions / Forward cover / Excon management
- Ensuring that all expenditure is minimised, authorised, received, allocated correctly
- Oversee the debtor’s department, deal with credit problems, ensure cash collected when due
- Ensuring the integrity of financial systems / data bases / financial & management reports / history
- Ensuring adequate internal controls within the business
- Keep Senior Management Team regularly informed on business / finance / cash flow and contract issues
- Ensuring that the standard operating procedures are simple / documented / relevant
- Projects (Budgets / Insurance program / audits / bank facility / annual audits / etc)
