- Grade 12; National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering preferred; Operations and Quality management
- Short Courses or Certifications in 5S; Six Sigma; Lean; ISO; OHS and related
- 5+ years experience in quality management, with experience in a leadership role preferred
- Valid Drivers License, own transport
- Ensuring Compliance – Ensuring products and processes adhere to both internal and external quality standards and regulations.
- Leading Quality Improvement Initiatives – Identifying areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions, and monitoring their effectiveness.
- Managing Quality Control – Overseeing inspections, testing, and other quality control activities to identify and address defects.
- Data Analysis and Reporting – Collecting, analysing, and interpreting quality data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
- Training and Development – Educating employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaboration and Communication – Working with various departments and stakeholders to promote a quality-focused culture and ensure alignment on quality goals.
- Performance Monitoring – Tracking and reporting on key quality metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Auditing – Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Problem Solving – Leading teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Leadership and Management: Ability to lead teams, motivate employees, and drive quality initiatives.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate quality standards, issues, and progress.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and solve problems.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO).
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships, collaborate with others, and influence stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve quality issues efficiently and effectively.
