Reports To: Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director Role Summary: As the National Operations Manager, you will lead and oversee the company's operational activities across the country. Responsible for the strategic and operational management of cleaning and hygiene services across all regional branches. You will ensure the consistent delivery of high standards, drive operational efficiencies, manage a large and diverse workforce, and maintain strong client relationships to support business growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all operational activities across regional and national levels. Ensure consistent service delivery that meets client expectations and contractual obligations. Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, training, and performance management of operational staff. Implement and monitor health & safety, hygiene standards, and compliance protocols. Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor and analyze KPIs and operational metrics to assess team performance and client satisfaction. Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending key meetings and resolving escalated issues. Support the sales team in preparing bids, tenders, and pricing strategies. Ensure consistent adherence to company policies, procedures, and values. Lead the implementation of new systems, technologies, or service innovations across regions.
Required Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 710 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the hygiene, cleaning, or facilities management industry. Proven leadership experience managing large teams across multiple locations. Strong understanding of contract management, compliance, and health & safety regulations. Demonstrated ability to drive efficiency and improve service delivery in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to analyse data and make strategic decisions. Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational management software/tools. Flexibility to travel nationally as required. Desirable Attributes: Diploma or degree in Business Management, Operations, Facilities Management, or related field would be an advantage Must be able to travel nationally Knowledge of ISO standards or other relevant quality frameworks. Experience with a large-scale workforce management. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of budgeting and financial oversight.
