ENGINEERING/MAINTENANCE PLANNER (Chemical Manufacturing) - DurbanFull job descriptionOverview(Area:) Durban & Pinetown(Salary:) Market Related(Ref: AG) Our client seeks to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified maintenance planner/clerk to plan and schedule maintenance resources, ensuring data integrity of the maintenance system.Responsibilities include:Ensuring that all compliance requirements are captured and scheduled on the ERP system, improving maintenance efficiency rates, closing all maintenance job cards and ensuring that the feedback is accurate and in the correct format, arranging resources (spares, materials,) for maintenance tasks. Must be able to engage in technical discussions with suppliers regarding spares as well as co-ordination of shutdown planning in conjunction with the maintenance manager, issuing job cards and following up with suppliers on deliveries. Setting up and maintenance of maintenance store and stock control, as well as ensuring compliance with all OHS regulations, and that all work is carried out in accordance with company SHE and ISO procedures.Must be a Qualified Artisan (preferably a Millwright), with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a chemical manufacturing industry.
