Key Responsibilities:Safety First:
  • The Shift Leader must demonstrate 100% commitment to zero-harm behaviors, supporting the organization's drive toward developing a world-class safety culture. Operating machines/equipment in accordance with safe work instructions and adhering to safety and housekeeping procedures is crucial.
Production:
  • The role involves managing production and cost-effective resource management of shift employees. Implementing sustainable systems to control daily targets and outputs is a key responsibility.
Administration:
  • The Shift Leader will perform administrative functions, coordinating and controlling production administrative systems in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and any statutory regulations or legislation.
People Management:
  • The role includes managing, developing, and motivating staff to achieve company objectives.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
  • A relevant degree or equivalent from a two-year tertiary institute or college is required.
  • Minimum one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced computer literacy (MS Office).
  • Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
