You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse costs, streamline processes, and drive efficiencies in the operations. Develop and implement cost accounting processes and procedures.
Analyse cost data to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
Collaborate with operations teams to monitor and control costs throughout the organization.
Prepare and present cost reports and analysis to management.
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Provide recommendations to optimize pricing strategies and maximize profitability.

Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom
BCom Honours
CIMA

Experience:

Completed SAICA Articles
Solid 1 /2 years’ experience core understanding cost management and financial reporting principles OR
5 Years previous experience in a cost accountant, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
