Our client based in Cape Town, who is a key leader within the packaging machines & packaging technology industry is seeking to employ a Retail Sales Representative. Today and in the future.Minimum requirements:

Grade 12
Valid Driver's license
Strong sales background
Proven work experience as a sales representative (3-5 years)
Excellent customer relationships
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
The ability to work with a team
Must be self-motivated and perform without supervision
Packaging Industry experience will serve as an advantage
Marketing Diploma will serve as an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Selling all Client Consumable Categories with specific focus on new products
Focus efforts on the Retail Sector of Cape Town
Selling of smaller dedicated Client Equipment
Maintain positive business relationships with customers
Achieve agreed upon sales targets
Service the existing accounts, obtain orders and establish new accounts
Plan and organize daily work schedules to call on existing or potential accounts or sales
Resolve customers complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports
Make recommendations to management
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results support such as daily call reports, weekly work plan and monthly analysis
Travel and sleep out as need arise.
