Our client, a well-established dealership located in the Johannesburg North area, is seeking to appoint a Qualified Master Technician to join their service team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and mentoring junior technicians.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on vehicles
  • Assist and mentor junior technicians within the workshop
  • Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications
  • Conduct quality control checks and road tests as required
  • Keep up to date with the latest technical bulletins and training
  • Maintain accurate service records and adhere to warranty procedures
  • Support service advisors and workshop manager with technical queries
Minimum Requirements:
  • Matric (Grade 12) – Essential
  • Recognised Automotive Technical Qualification – Essential (Trade Tested Motor Mechanic)
  • Certified Ford Master Technician – Essential
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a qualified technician, with proven Master Technician status
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience with dealership diagnostic systems and tools
  • Excellent understanding of manufacturer repair standards and procedures
  • Clean Criminal Record
