Job Purpose:To provide recent graduates with exposure to key supply chain functions including procurement, inventory management, logistics, distribution, and planning. The trainee will rotate across various departments to gain a broad understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations and build practical, job-ready skills.Key Responsibilities:Assist with inventory management, stock tracking, and warehouse operations.Support procurement activities including placing orders and supplier follow-up.Help monitor inbound and outbound logistics and delivery schedules.Capture and analyze supply chain data to support reporting and decision-making.Participate in demand planning and forecasting activities.Assist in resolving supply issues and backorders.Collaborate with internal teams (sales, finance, production) to optimize flow of goods.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Learn to use ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Syspro) and warehouse management tools.Requirements:National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering.Recent graduate (within the past 1–2 years).Computer literate, especially in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Analytical mindset and attention to detail.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.South African citizen, aged 18–35, currently unemployed.Advantageous:Internship or part-time experience in logistics, warehousing, or procurement.Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).Driver’s license (Code B).Stipend:Monthly stipend offeredThe post appeared first on .
