Are you detail-oriented with a knack for numbers? Unlock your potential as a Payroll Resource superstar!My client is seeking a diligent individual to fill their Payroll Resource position. As a Payroll Resource, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of both salary and wages, leaving no room for errors.This position is based in Durban North.Duties:Salary Payroll:
  • Organize monthly salary adjustments meticulously, covering all changes including new hires, terminations, and various allowances.
  • Handle deduction reports and reconcile them with third-party payment statements.
  • Aid in compiling third-party payment schedules and maintain Provident Fund history reports.
  • Keep VIP payroll reporting up-to-date and assist with reconciliation queries.
Wages Payroll:
  • Maintain employee information on VIP platform efficiently.
  • Process weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly wages payrolls for both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Ensure timely capturing and releasing of hourly employee payroll and related payments.
  • Generate necessary reports and distribute them promptly to relevant branches.
Payroll & HR: Salary/Wage:
  • Assist in preparing and reconciling EMP201's and EMP501 submissions.
  • Support various HR-related reporting including Equity, Skills, SEST, and STATSA reporting.
General:
  • Assist in accurate and timely payroll processing, including data entry for new hires and terminations.
  • Stay updated on compliance requirements and ensure adherence to tax and labor laws.
  • Maintain and update employee records in VIP and generate payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
  • Facilitate communication with employees regarding payroll inquiries and collaborate with other departments for seamless information flow.
  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or errors in collaboration with the VIP Manager.
  • Stay abreast of payroll software updates and assist in implementation and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve payroll objectives and provide support during peak periods.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • Completed BCom or related qualification required
  • Minimum of 5 to 6 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Experience working in an IT industry is preferred
